Plate lunches, sides and drinks in one record
A meal record is easier to check when the main plates, included sides and drinks stay distinct. This editable San Diego example shows a BBQ and Katsu mix, sides and bottled water. Its example amounts are not current menu prices.
Cash payments and nickel rounding
The owner of this site reports that some locations have indicated they may round cash payments down to a five-cent increment and note it on the receipt. Confirm the practice with the location; this is not a verified chain-wide policy. Record a rounding adjustment only when your receipt confirms it.
Check the amount actually paid
Keep the subtotal, tax, any rounding adjustment and final cash payment distinct. Do not alter individual item prices to explain a difference. If the receipt does not show an adjustment, ask the store rather than guessing.

Missing a receipt? Start with the restaurant
Ask the location you visited whether it can recover your receipt. Have the date, approximate time and amount ready. Review discounts, charges and tip separately so nothing is counted twice.
Make the dining record your own
Use the template for business, education or personal organization. Replace the example values with confirmed details and keep the restaurant document. CMR does not create an Ono Hawaiian BBQ-issued original or guarantee reimbursement.
Quick receipt questions
What if my receipt is lost or damaged?
Receipts are easy to misplace, and paper can become damaged or unreadable. First ask the restaurant whether it can recover the original. If it cannot, recreating a personal record for internal organization may be useful. Use only confirmed purchase details, leave unknown amounts blank, and keep any surviving photo or payment record as a reference.
How should I record a tip?
Keep the tip separate from the subtotal, tax and other charges. Check whether it is already included in the final total so you do not add it twice. Record a cash tip only when you can confirm the amount.
Can I edit the Ono Hawaiian BBQ template?
Yes. Click Use Ono Hawaiian BBQ template to start an editable copy. Adjust text, placement, size, items and amounts to suit your record, then review the preview before saving. Replace the example values with your own confirmed details.
Can I turn my record into an Excel document?
Take advantage of CMR’s Excel/XLSX export, included with paid Records Export access or an active unlimited pass. Review and save your records, then choose XLSX in the export workflow to organize meals, tax and tips in a spreadsheet. View export options and pricing.
